The Johansson Pro MTB is a high-top shoe built for Emil Johansson’s intense slopestyle mountain biking. It features a robust ankle-high cut for support, Formula G rubber compound outsole for double the pedal grip , and a grippy Geo-Hex tread that interfaces with pedal pins. It has an extra thick “Drop to the Floor” Pro Foam 2 insole to absorb huge impacts and a strapless lace system (laces tuck away safely). Emil described it as “comfy for everyday life” as well , so despite the burly build (thermal heat retention layer, etc.), it’s wearable off the bike. Essentially, it’s a skate-meets-MTB high-top specifically engineered to help Emil stomp technical tricks at big competitions.
